On Wednesday 4 June, Aedes, the association of 230 housing corporations, will go to court to demand that the announced rent freeze be reversed. Aedes states that the announced rent freeze will bring new construction, renovation and sustainability to a standstill. The reality, however, is that rents have been increased by record percentages for years, while the construction of new social housing is lagging behind and tenants remain in moldy homes for decades. Government investments in social housing are lacking and the money to solve the housing crisis is being unilaterally taken away from tenants. Time to take action!

On May 23, the Bond Precaire Woonvormen (BPW) invites you to an inspiring and practical meet-up about the next step in the housing struggle: the rent strike. During this evening we will think together, make plans and lay the building blocks for a local and national rent strike strategy.
