17/12/21 – Support for action group We Refuse the Rent Increase is growing! Thanks for that. In this first newsletter we thank everyone who has recently signed up for our newsletter, we discuss recent developments and we ask for support for the upcoming campaign in 2022.

At the beginning of this month, a judge ruled in favor of a tenant who refused the rent increase in 2020 by simply not paying it. His landlord harassed him with a collection agency and eventually a summons for 'payment arrears', but was unsuccessful. 

Demonstrate against the housing crisis! We are dealing with a colossal housing crisis that is hitting many people hard. Now is the time to demand change: the new cabinet is coming and local politicians are preparing for the municipal elections in March 2022.
