Rent is too expensive! - Demonstration March 28 May - Amsterdam

Rent is too expensive! – Demonstration march on May 28 in Amsterdam. Meet at 14:00 at the headquarters of housing association De Key, Hoogte Kadijk 179 – 181.

Enough is enough. Rent has become prohibitively expensive for everyone. It does not matter whether you rent from a large or small commercial landlord or whether you rent from a housing corporation. It also does not matter whether you receive housing benefit or whether you earn just a little too much to qualify. Rent takes up too much of your income. In many households, there is not even enough money left over for a hot meal every day or for the energy bill.

time for action

Enough is enough. We can't take it anymore! We want rents to be frozen in the coming years. To enforce this demand, we call on everyone to refuse the rent increase, and a demonstration march is organized in Amsterdam, where we walk from the Height Kadijk to the Stopera. Sign up for it Facebook event for more info and stay tuned.

This demonstration is organized by members of various Amsterdam tenants' associations, action group Niet for Koop and members of We Refuse the Rent Increase. Also see www.huuristeduur.nl.
